Asian Glazed Salmon

Cook Time: 8 mins
Ready In: 23 mins

  • 4 filletSalmon, Fresh
  • 1/3 cupSugars, Brown
  • 2 tbspSoy Sauce, Low Sodium
  • 1 tbspDijon Mustard
  • 3 tbspRice Vinegar


  1. Thaw fish, if frozen. Rinse fish and pat dry with paper towels. If necessary, cut fish into 4 serving-size pieces. Set aside.
  2. For glaze, in a small bowl combine brown sugar, soy, and mustard. Set aside 2 tablespoons of the mixture for sauce.
  3. Preheat broiler. Place fish on the greased unheated rack of a broiler pan.
  4. Broil about 4 inches from the heat for 8 to 12 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, carefully turning once halfway through broiling and brushing with glaze the last 2 to 3 minutes of broiling.
  5. For sauce, stir together rice vinegar and reserved brown sugar mixture until sugar is dissolved. Serve with salmon.

Grilled Marinated Salmon

This is another one that I got a while back which I cannot remember where I got it. If you find out, let me know and I’ll post an acknowledgement! As of now, however, my husband has been creating his own Salmon mixture. I’ll share it if he lets me in on the secret 😀

2 c. oil
1 c. dry white wine
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
For 6 – 1/2 lb. salmon steaks

Place salmon in marinade at least 2 hours before grilling. Turn at halfway point. Oil bar of the grill to minimize sticking.

Place steaks on hot grill for approximately 4 to 5 minutes, then turn. Lower heat to medium and continue cooking 10 minutes for each inch of thickness.

You may have to turn steaks over again. Serve with melted butter and lemon juice.
